We decided it would be fun to get tickets for Stadium of Fire this year. The boys weren't too excited about seeing Miley( in fact they said they would bring ipods to listen to while she sings) but were excited to see BlueMan Group, Glen Beck, and the fireworks show. Not having young girls, we didn't really know how crazy the ticket purchasing would go. The plan was Lance would buy 8 tickets at work and I would buy 8 tickets from our house. Luckily I got on the computer about 10 minutes early and got into the virtual waiting room. I ended up being able to get 13 tickets- in the different areas, but Lance was never able to get any tickets. Now we just need to figure out who is going. Mark has said he would be willing to "sacrifice" and stay home. It should be a fun night. Sydney of course is VERY excited to see Miley!

My sister and I both got in the virtual waiting room starting about 4:30. Neither of us were successful in getting tickets. Bummer. Another friend of mine also wasn't able to get tickets but his wife got 8 and his son sitting at the family computer at home got 8 and then another 8. You are only the second person I know to be successful. Enjoy the show (or make lots of money by selling your tickets on eBay)
You are lucky to get any tickets. Pattie didn't have any luck, nor did very many others that I have heard of.
You obviously don't have young girls if you don't know the whole Hannah Montana craze. It is unbelievable! Have fun, although I'm afraid you might be overpowered by a bunch of screaming girls =)
